A. Use the Grid

Select the Options | Grid... menu command. On the Grid Options dialog, check the Snap to Grid box and uncheck the Hide Grid box.

Click centre of control and drag to a new position. Click edge or corner of control and drag to change its size.

B. Use the Alignment Toolbar

Select a number of controls by holding down the shift key and clicking the controls. The last one selected has sizing handles and is the 'master' control for alignment.
Align the selected controls using the align bottom button on the alignment toolbar.

C. Use the Alignment Hairs Tool

You can turn the alignment hairs on by clicking the alignment hairs button.

When you drag controls around the form, vertical and horizontal alignment hairs extend beyond the boundaries of the control.

Instructions

1. Size and position the controls on the AddBookForm using the techniques described.
2. Check the AddBookForm appears as shown on the right.
3. Click the toolbar button to save the AddBookForm.
4. Select the File | Exit Painter menu command to return to the Class Browser.
