Selection Criteria

You can filter the collection by applying selection criteria to database fields. For example, retail sales with a price greater than $10,000.

Instructions

1. Select the Profile | Selection Criteria... menu command. The Profile Properties dialog is displayed.
2. Select price and click the top arrow.
3. Select the is greater than operator.
4. Enter 10000 as the Value.
5. Click the Update Criteria button.
6. Click the Apply button.
7. Click the Close button.
8. Preview the report.
   Only three retail sales are displayed.

Important – Remove the selection criteria and sort order by selecting each option and clicking the arrow and the Apply button before continuing.
