History Ross Brown and Tim Brown launched Turing Solutions as a JADE Partner
in October 1997. Turing Solutions grew rapidly to become a 30 person
multi-technology company in just three years. Carl Ranson have joined the Unify Group to become the core of a highly experienced, exceptional quality JADE Consulting Practice. Consultants Ross Brown is an ex-Aoraki (Aoraki is now called JADE Software Corporation) employee who had used the predecessor to JADE (ARK) for development of production systems in 1992. Ross also introduced JADE, in beta format, to a Christchurch software development company in 1996. Ross specializes in the architectural design and development of Internet based software solutions. His experience in this area includes the prototype of the ASB Bank Fastnet Internet banking system and the OFX Server used by ASB Bank's business banking software. Tim Brown holds Masters degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration. His software development history includes: the original engine used by Animation Research (his Master's thesis) and software for DNA analysis; as well as the more traditional: procurement, document and information management systems. Tim specializes in strategic software development - allowing businesses to gain competitive advantage from innovative use of information technology. Carl Ranson was the first staff member of the newly formed Turing Solutions and became the first staff member of Unify in March 2001. Carl started developing in JADE during the Beta program in 1997.
